Joan Cox, Retired Broker/Owner good morning, Joan... personally I'm not much for crowds and parking... but obviously people seem not to care with 100,000+ attending over four days.

Nina Hollander, Broker I wonder how many have attended this festival a block away from me.   It will close Sunday, and has been going for 3 months.

Hi Nina- this is a festival everyone could support. 100% of the proceeds going to local non-profits is music to my ears.

Sep 02, 2026 10:46 AM
Nina Hollander, Broker

Kathy Streib hi Kathy... we have lots of festivals in Charlotte area that raise money for worth causes, but this is one of the few that gives away 100% of the proceeds.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 hi Ed... they are expecting at least 100,000 people to attend over these four days. Matthews has just over 30,000 residents so that's quite a number for this "small" town.

The RIGHT CHARLOTTE REALTOR!

We used to attend Matthews ALIVE! when we lived in Matthews and now that my Dad is living there, I'm hopeful we can get him there this weekend. It's such a fun festival and the fact that all of the proceeds goes to charity is HUGE! Matthews is SUCH a charitable town--one of the reasons Dad chose that area.

Sep 03, 2026 08:33 PM
Nina Hollander, Broker

Debe Maxwell, CRS good morning, Debe... aside from Matthews Alive! this town has so much going on all year long... which is amazing given its size. And, of course, the Farmers Market has to be one of the best in the area.
