Your Guide to the Long Weekend in Northern Virginia & DC
Great info shared by a fellow Realtor!!
DC and Northern Virginia is a great area to visit.
Washington has so many museums and free things to do every single day! If you have not visited, you should. My favorites are the Smithsonian, Capital, Whitehouse and US Mint. Of course, don't forget the Whitehouse nearby memorials and monuments. There are also lots of Civil War signs nearby.
Northern Virgina also offers many Civil War era sights. Quantico is nearby and welcome visitors, too. I always enjoy George Washingtons home, Mount Vernon and Great Falls Park.
Both areas are worth a visit! Check with your government officials for special invitations.
And if you live in Florida, visit the Florida House!
