🍂 Fall in Kenosha: 10 Ways to Make Memories at Every Age 🍂
There is just something special about fall in Kenosha.
Maybe it’s the crispness in the air, the changing leaves, the smell of pumpkins and apple cider—or simply the feeling that summer is slowing down and we have permission to pause and enjoy the little things.
After serving Southeast Wisconsin as a Realtor since 1994, I’ve learned that home is about so much more than the four walls where we live. It’s about the community around us, the places we gather, and the memories we make with the people we love.
And Kenosha has plenty of opportunities to do just that!
🍎 1. Visit a Pumpkin Farm
Fall wouldn't be fall without pumpkins! Whether you're taking the little ones through a corn maze, choosing the perfect pumpkin, enjoying a hayride or simply taking pictures, local pumpkin farms offer something for everyone.
🍁 2. Enjoy Kenosha's Fall Colors
Take a walk, ride your bike, grab your camera or simply enjoy the scenery. Petrifying Springs Park, Bristol Woods and other area parks become beautiful places to experience autumn. And don't forget the lakefront!

🎃 3. Enjoy Halloween Fun
Halloween isn't just for children anymore! From family-friendly events to costumes, movies and spooky activities, there are plenty of ways for kids, teens, parents and grandparents to enjoy the season together.
🚲 4. Get Outside
The cooler temperatures make fall one of my favorite times to be outdoors. Walk a trail, take a bike ride, explore a park or enjoy an afternoon outdoors with your family.
🧺 5. Visit a Farmers Market
Fall brings an abundance of seasonal goodies—apples, pumpkins, squash, baked treats, flowers and locally made products. A Saturday morning at the market can be a wonderful way to slow down and enjoy our community.

🍂 6. Celebrate at a Fall Festival
From Oktoberfest celebrations to community gatherings, Kenosha knows how to bring people together. Good food, music, friends and neighbors are a pretty wonderful combination!
🎭 7. Enjoy the Arts
As the evenings get cooler, it's a great time to discover Kenosha's theaters, music, arts and entertainment. Plan a date night, meet some friends or introduce the grandchildren to something new.
🐾 8. Don't Forget Your Four-Legged Family Members
As a lifelong dog lover, I couldn't leave this one out! Fall is a wonderful time to enjoy a walk or outdoor adventure with your favorite four-legged companion. Sometimes those simple walks become some of our favorite memories.

👨👩👧👦 9. Make It a Multi-Generational Fall
One of the things I love about Kenosha is that there truly is something for every generation. Kids can enjoy pumpkins and playgrounds. Teens can find festivals and entertainment. Couples can enjoy restaurants and the arts. Grandparents can enjoy a peaceful walk or make memories with the grandchildren.
And sometimes the best activity of all is simply spending time together.
🏡 10. Fall in Love With Kenosha All Over Again
Perhaps my favorite thing about fall is that it reminds us what makes a community feel like home.
It's the Saturday morning at the farmers market.
The walk through the changing leaves.
Picking pumpkins with the grandchildren.
Taking the dog for a walk.
Meeting friends at a local festival.
Enjoying dinner downtown.
Watching the sunset along Lake Michigan.
These may seem like little things, but these are the moments that make a house feel like home.
As a Realtor who has been fortunate enough to help people buy and sell homes throughout Southeast Wisconsin for more than 30 years, I don't just appreciate the homes in our communities—I appreciate the lives being lived in them.

So this fall, get out and explore Kenosha. Try something new. Revisit an old favorite. Gather your family and friends.
And most importantly, make some memories. ❤️
After all, that's what home is really about.
Happy Fall, Kenosha! 🍂🎃🍎
