Happy National Play Outside Day To ActiveRain Community

By
Industry Observer CDRE #01044712

Every year on 1st Saturday of September and this year on Saturday September 5th, 2026 we celebrate Happy National Play Outside Day.

There is no record indicating origin of the Happy National Play Outside Day started. It is an opportunity to remind everyone to get outside and enjoy the fresh air through play.

We can celebrate the Happy National Play Outside Day, but the National Play Outside Day is a reminder to stretch our legs and expend some energy in the great outdoors.

I want to wish to everyone at Active Rain community a Happy National Play Outside Day.

John Pusa hi John... with a heat index of over 100 degrees and a humidity level I don't even want to know about today, I think I'll pass on the playing outside.

John Pusa when I was a kid, and well as when my kids were growing up, everyday was National Play Outside Day.  These days we can't get kids away from their computers, and cell phones to do any physical activities.

Same to you John. I did play outside today with my golf in the morning and yard work in the afternoon. I just don't know if it all qualifies as play.
