This is my 2,000th post. Yeah, it’s hard to believe, but I’ve been on Active Rain for almost 20 years!
I was very active here for several years, participating in discussions, networking, posting market reports and connecting with many of you in meaningful ways. I’m still friends with several people I’ve met here. This was my virtual home away from home for years.
I have learned so much here! I can’t even attempt to delve into the professional growth I’ve incurred here, simply by reading and commenting on the blogs. I can honestly say that Active Rain has been instrumental in the success I’ve had in my Real Estate Career. More so than anything else I’ve ever done: more than my GRI training, more than my Broker training in two states, more than all the classes I’ve taken over the years, more than any other networking I’ve ever done!
There is a culture of generosity here on Active Rain. I think perhaps that may have something to do with it. Or maybe it’s because Active Rain attracts real movers and shakers in the industry, people who are eager to better themselves. For whatever reason, or maybe the combination thereof, this community has given me a lot over the years and I am so grateful for it! Thank you for creating this community, thank you for giving to it so freely, thank you for being candid and open, thank you for sharing your problems and solutions, thank you for making this Active Rain Community the very BEST Network of and for Real Estate Professionals!
