We got our third weekend of camping in for the year. Although it may have been the best yet it still did NOT go off without a hitch. That being said it was very enjoyable. The one hitch this time was our generator made some bad noises, quit, and then would only run for 15 minutes at a time. After a half hour nap it would run another 15 minutes. There were periods of time that AC would have been nice but hey! we were camping.
Changing the subject but still camping.
Have you every thought: "There must be some good use for all this shredded paper."? For years I've been using it to aid in my camp fires.
I got rid of about three months worth this weekend.
Is there a Real Estate message in here?
Maybe.
#1) If you have client sensitive documents that need to be destroyed after a transaction shred and burn them.
#2) If you need a stress reducer go camping at a primitive site with no Wi-Fi.
#3) No matter how great the preparation (my generator dying) and practiced redundancy (camping many years) things still may have some glitches.
One unforeseen glitch was despite every weather guessers prediction for a hot sunny Sunday we had to leave the campsite 2 hours early because God put a bullseye on our exact location. We were 60 miles from Minot one direction and 60 miles from Bismarck the other direction. Radios went off and the Park Rangers were out in full force warning that the Lake Sakakawea Camp Grounds was ground zero for torrential rain, hail, and flash flooding. The National Weather Service NEVER mentions such a precise location without a town name. We started taking down our camp site dry but in a matter of ten minutes we were soaked to the bone.
