Why Do I Comment on Market Reports and Listing Posts?
While I’m not an agent and am retired, I still read some market reports and listing posts.
Why in the world would you do that?
As for market reports and listings, I enjoy seeing what’s going on around the country. Do I remember it all? Of course not, but I do get a general idea.
However, it’s more than an interest in them—it’s my way of supporting and encouraging the other members here.

While there’s no rule saying you have to comment and reciprocate on every post, doing so builds a sense of fellowship and community that is the backbone of ActiveRain.
It’s my way of letting them know they’re not talking to a brick wall.
It’s also my way of thanking a member for taking the time to comment on my post. That being said, I try not to make it tit-for-tat.

Whether someone comments on my post is not a prerequisite for reading or commenting on theirs. I’m not that small-minded. However at some point, I will stop if I feel the member has no interest in what I say.
What about you? Do you read the market and listing posts of other members?
