The Villages Mustang Club Is Still Cruising

There are plenty of car lovers in The Villages, and one group has been bringing Mustang fans together since 2007. The Villages Mustang Club started pretty simply. A few Villagers met at a local Dairy Queen because they shared a love of Ford Mustangs. Almost 20 years later, the club is still going strong.

And it isn't just about standing around looking under the hood.Their 2026 calendar includes lunch cruises, trips, dinners, car shows and even outings that have nothing to do with cars. The club says the idea is to bring old and new friends together around a common interest.  That's really what so many clubs in The Villages are about. The Mustang may be what gets you through the door, but the friendships and activities are what keep you coming back.

They currently meet at Eisenhower Recreation Center on the first Friday of each month. And yes, if you own a Mustang or just have an interest in them, membership information is available through the club.

Good morning Dick. The Mustang can being many together. A fire of mine rebuilds the older ones as a hobby. Something about a Mustang, Whether you have ever owned one or not, the mere mention of the name brings back memories. Enjoy your day.

Dick Betts mustangs were one of the special classic cars of our time.  My nephew bought a 1965 mustang and had it restored.  It is beautiful.
