🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 - Never Forget.
Â
This day began as an ordinary morning for nearly 3,000 innocent people who never came home.
Â
Mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, friends, coworkers, ordinary Americans simply going about their daily lives to make a living. In a matter of hours, their families were left with unimaginable horror, grief and empty chairs never to be filled again at their tables.
Â
We must remember the courageous firefighters, police officers, paramedics and other first responders who put themselves in harm’s way to save lives. Plus the passengers of Flight 93 who fought back, sacrificing themselves rather than allowing the hijackers to reach their intended target.
Â
The wounds of that day remain after the towers fell. Families lost loved ones. First responders carried physical and emotional scars. A generation grew up knowing that America could be attacked on its own soil.Â
Â
Every country has the right and responsibility to control its borders, to know who is entering, properly vet those seeking entry, demand assimilation and strictly enforce immigration laws. The hijackers did not breach the border illegally but obtained non-immigrant visas, crossing into America 33 times.
Â
We honor the victims by remembering the lives they lived, not simply the way they died.
Remember their names.

Remember their families.

Remember the courage.

Remember the evil.

Remember the lessons.
Â
And above all ---
DO. NOT. EVER. FORGET
