October Challenge- ActiveRain Tips & Tricks: What Do You Know That the Rest of Us Don't?

October is here, which means it’s time for another ActiveRain Challenge!

This month, Eileen Burns 954.483.3912  and I thought we would have a little fun with something we all have in common:

ActiveRain Tips & Tricks!

Whether you have been on ActiveRain for years or you're brand new to the site, we’re betting you've learned something useful—or there is something you wish someone would explain.

So this month's challenge is simple:

Share an ActiveRain TIP or TRICK

It can be something you have discovered that makes blogging easier, helps you get more readers, encourages engagement, or simply makes your ActiveRain experience better.

And if you're new to ActiveRain, tell us what you need help with!

Sometimes the best tips come from the questions we don't know enough to ask.

A Few Ideas to Get You Started

For the ActiveRain veterans:

-What's something about blogging on ActiveRain that took you a while to figure out?
-How do you come up with ideas for your posts?
=What's your trick for writing a headline that gets attention?
-How do you get people to comment on your posts?
-Do you have a favorite way to use photos or graphics?
-Have you discovered a feature on ActiveRain that others might not know about?
-What's your best tip for staying consistent with blogging?
-How do you turn a question from a client into a blog post?
-What's one blogging mistake you made that taught you something?
-Do you have an old ActiveRain post that still gets traffic? What's your secret?

And for those who are new to ActiveRain:

Don't be shy! Tell us what you're trying to figure out.

Maybe you're wondering:
-How do I get started?
-What should I blog about?
-How often should I post?
-How do I get people to read my posts?
-How do I get more comments?
-What's the best way to use categories or tags?

Or maybe you simply want to know:

"What am I missing?"

That's exactly what this challenge is for.

Write a post sharing a TIP or TRICK or a post asking us for a TIP or TRICK to help you. Share a link to it in the comment section below.  

It doesn't have to be earth-shattering. Sometimes the simplest tips are the most helpful.

And if you're new, ask a question instead. Don’t assume you’re the only one with a question!

Let's see if we can create a giant ActiveRain Tips & Tricks library right here in the comments.

Because one of the things I've always liked about ActiveRain is that someone usually knows the answer.
