Thank you for posting the results Marina.  How did you organize the poll?  Is there a website that does this?

Thanks Marina for sharing the results.   It just goes to show that if you do a great job and get them talking them more will follow, but it sometimes takes time, patience, and perseverance.

Marina - Thanks for organizing and the publishing the results for everyone to see.  Would be interesting to see if the stats change over time or stay about the same.

Preparing your property for sale

Having grown up in a small village of 450 people and then moving to a larger town of 15,000 I can tell you word of mouth is the best form of advertising.

My parents had a siding and window business for 15 years. They never advertised and were never without work. As my dad was the only installer people would wait up to 8 months for him to schedule their work. But wait they did. He was worth waiting for.

You can build your business in the same way. Don't panic if you get more than one job to do, if your reputation is good they will wait for you and only you to do the work.

Thanks for all the comments.  It does give some valuable insight which we all could use.

The Stager Success Polls responses would have come from Stagers.  The Choosing a Stager Polls responses -from the Realtors.

Thanks for sharing the poll with us. :) Referrals are huge! If anyone has a great way to get rmore testimonials, I'd like to know. I find it's like pulling teeth! The clients and realtors say the transformation is amazing, and even when the home sells in mere days or weeks (well at least that was before the economy started to collapse) and I ask and follow-up, they say they'll do it but it doesn't always work out that way.

I've tried several follow ups and even emailing/mailing out a card with a self-addressed and stamped post card etc for them to write their comments and mail back to me and it doesn't always work out that way.

All advice is welcomed. :)

Thanks! Karla D
