Home Stager with Ramki Heating

Central heating Gas became widely available in the 1970’s replacing coal, wood and electric fires. The brother’s took this opportunity to train and qualify as Corgi Engineers, in order to provide a much needed service to the new Gujarati community.

Ramki heating was founded in 1971, by three brothers from India. Ramesh, Mahendra and Suresh came to England from Kampala, Uganda in 1966, in search for greater opportunities for their families.

They started by installing gas Central Heating systems in homes in the Wembley area. Due to their professionalism and efficiency the company’s reputations grew and by 1978 the expanding business moved to a warehouse in Southall. Through client recommendations, over the last 35 years, Ramki Heating have installed and maintained heating systems in over 4,000 homes in Greater London.

Our aim at Ramki Heating is to tailor the central heating system to suit your needs. The system should use no more fuel than necessary and always have the house at the temperature you desire. It should also provide all the hot water you need, when you need it.

Ramki has Landlord Gas Certificate. There are many types of systems that can be installed, and which may be tailored to your own preferences. But a carefully designed and installed system will give many years of trouble free running and will not waste heat, therefore keeping fuel costs low.

Most of the cylinders we supply are indirect, which means water from the central heating goes through a coil within the cylinder giving its heat up to the water within the cylinder. These are used for most types of central heating systems.

CYLINDERS

Most of the cylinders we supply are indirect, which means water from the central heating goes through a coil within the cylinder giving its heat up to the water within the cylinder. These are used for most types of Central Heating Repair.

Open Vented System

This is usually on older systems and cast iron boilers. This means that there is an “Expansion Tank” fitted high up, which feeds the water down the “Cold Feed” into the central heating system. This is usually fitted in the loft next to the storage tank.

Sealed System

Instead of using a tank and an expansion pipe, sealed systems use an “Expansion Vessel”, a “Safety Blow Off Valve” and a “Filling Loop”. Most modern systems use this method because it is easier to install and has less tendency of problems developing in the system at a later date.
