Do you want to look 30 when you are 50? 60? 70? Well if you do, the work starts now! Skin health is something that many of us forget when you were busy with our daily lives. It's our fist impression on the world, and our largest organ that cannot be replaced. One of the best lines of defense that most people know of is using a daily moisturizer and trying to remember a good sunscreen when they are outside. However, over time, that just isn't enough. I personally try to get a facial one time every other month, and sometimes every month.
There are thousands of types of facials, but the most important part is the deep exfoliation, pore cleansing, fine line diminishing, reparative, and deep hydrating action that almost every one will give you. Some are made to give a complete peel of the outer layer of dead skin cells where others simply tighten and tone the skin.
The best place to get a facial is at a well known spa with a highly trained professional. This is your face, and you don't want some flunky rubbing who knows what all over you face only to have extreme breakouts or damage done. I love BLISS SPA. They are located in many locations in New York City and in every single W Hotel in the world. They have the best professional people in the areas they are located and undoubtedly the coolest spa experiences you will have.
Facials are not cheap. Good ones can range anywhere from $100 to $250 per session. However, when you are 70 years old, how much would you pay to not have damaged, aged skin that makes you look like you are 70! I personally think of it as an investment in my future good looks! HA! HA! As Dolly Parton says, "It takes a lot of money to look this cheap!"
