In Sleepy Kona You Gotta Go to the Big Events!
FYI - The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Building & Design Expo is this Friday, July 18 - Sunday, July 20
It will be held at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa Convention Center. It's Open to the general public on Friday from 5 - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 3pm.
I have attended in years past and it was well worth the time and trouble. This year they have thought ahead and are offerring free shuttle service from the Keauhou Shopping center to the resort. Parking at the resort is limited and it can become a mess. If you don't go early on Saturday, I suggest you consider the free shuttle.
Here is what the Chamber posted about the event on their website...
FREE to the public.
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce will hold its fourth annual home expo July 18 - 20. Friday evening the expo is open to the public from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Located at the spacious Keauhou Convention Center at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa, the Expo has become a must-attend event. Free to the public, participants will have the opportunity to visit with over 100 exhibits from local companies in the areas of home design, construction, home decorating, landscaping, pools and spas, indoor and outdoor furniture, home security and more.
