Dagmar -

Time is a fleeting commodity, and we all have limited amounts of the stuff - time, that is - to spend hours posting and reading social networking sites.

Please - where should we put our time emphasis - without spending hours on end just trying to impress the kiddies!

Or, am I just an old coot?

Dean, you know, I felt the same way you did.  It takes time and time is money but just like with anything else, My father always said to me, do everything with LOVE and then it will be pleasure
not a chore.  The rewards outway the time I spend.  And the learning is like being back in
college.  It keeps your brain sharp to read, learn and pay back to others.  But, what is so special
Dean is that we are all different and we learn from each other.  Your comment made me think
and you willing to share your opinion means a lot to me. Thank you.

Vickie, I will check-out twitter.  Thanks.  Dagmar

I have found Twitter, Plurk, MyBlogLog, and Friendfeed to be the most effective social media platforms. Good demographic (older geeks like me) and allows you to effective promote and network.

Dagmar I don't know how you can be involved in that many different networks.  I struggle to keep up with just a quarter of what you are doing
