I was in the office the other morning, talking to one of my fellow agents who was showing me one of his listings on his computer when a gentleman walked into his office and placed a box on his desk. He waved and walked out the door. I looked in the box and it was full of big, beautiful peaches. It was just one of his past clients, sharing some of his pickings. Just a reminder to me that I need to stop at some of the many farm stands we have in the area here. Check out your area for a farmers market or a farm stand and try something fresh and locally grown. They will appreciate your business. There used to be a farm where many a subdivision now stands.
I agree, I lived in Waynesboro for 50 years and now I am in Arkansas, boy I miss the local fruit stands. All we have here is Catfish stands!
One good turn deserves another. I have an organic garden in my yard and often share the excess crops with friends and family. I say we all take a lesson from this man and 'pay it forward'. Thanks for the reminder. Have a great weekend!

RM,
It`s always great to grow your own....
The tomatoes grown in your part of the world are some of the best in the country...BEEFSTEAKS....are my favorite..
I agree with Betina - Pay it Forward to your A+ clients. They too will appreciate the fresh produce you gift to them - Pop By and see what's happening in their world and put a smile on their face! We're still in strawberry season!!
Richard, my husband stopped by a home stand the other day and brought home some beautiful tomatoes, corn and cucumbers. SO fresh and the sellers? They're in their 70's!
I was at the Burke VA Farmers Market this morning at 8 AM. Peaches, corn, tomatoes, fresh bread, beans...I will be happy for days. I love the summer when all I need to eat are veggies and fruit! BUY LOCAL!
Hey, Richard. You are so right he veggies are perfect this time of the year, Jim
