I think its the right palce to invest in amritsar. Not only residension but also comercial boom can be noticed.On the Otherside think like having a warehouse and with in a  few hrs one can make the shipment. so its promote JIT logistical concept. Moreover gives ample oppurtunity for the small businness man; in oder to cater the nneds in this developing segment of amritsar.
