Wow...look at that rainbow! Look at those mountains! Great info on surrounding neighborhoods and employment opportunities
Gary- White Water is definitely in a good location, and yes they have some of the most affordable housing around here. The Casino is going to expand which will offer even more jobs......so that is a good thing for everyone.
Sally- Thanks....we do have beautiful mountains, and there is also a lot of places for those that like to "play" in the outdoors. Another big plus is the availability of more Jobs. More and more development has taking place in the past few years, and just recently several large box stores have gone in just 20 minutes down the road in Beaumont. With today's gas prices I am ecstatic we don't have to drive so far anymore to shop.
Kathy, that is wonderful that more jobs will be available in your area. I really like both of the pictures...did you take them?
Beautiful photos of a beautiful area!! Thanks for sharing this information, Kathy.
Kathy, The areas sound lovely and the home prices terrific....and I loved the photos, I miss the mountains very much! Good luck on the sales in that beautiful area of yours.
Sondra- There will be many more jobs in the next few years, which is great for our area. There really weren't many jobs in our area several years ago, but it's gotten much better, and more are coming :) Thanks for the compliment on the pictures...I took the top one, and my Agent, Anne Seminaris-Davila took the one with the rainbow. I love that picture also.
Deborah- Thank you....this area is the neck of the Coachella Valley and it is desert...but it's sandwiched between two mountains, so it's also at the tail of the San Gorgonio Pass Area. Another name for Whitewater is West Palm Springs Village.
Carole-Thanks...I love the Mountains too, especially in the Spring and Winter. Beautiful just beautiful :) :)
Kathy.....this sounds like affordable housing at it's best. Lovely photo with the rainbow in the background.
Pam- Yes it is pretty affordable. Unfortunately there are a lot of foreclosures, one of the reasons is because people that couldn't afford the homes bought them, and lost them. There are many good deals to be had right now.
I too love that picture :)
Kathy, Have I ever told you that when I was a kid we lived in California? My dad was in the Air Force and stationed at March AFB. We lived by Lake Arrowhead. I have not been there in 30 years, I am sure it is a different world. Maybe someday I should take a journey to see my old house and stuff. Nice photo.
Audrey- How funny....we had a place in Blue Jay when I was a kid .....we lived very close to each other. When my son was in the ROTC Program we lived close to March....that's when the town was called Sunnymead, now it's Moreno Valley. If you haven't been here in 30 years some areas have changed a lot, and some very little. It is something to go see the childhood jaunts.....
Kathy,
Nice shots of the mountain tops and I see you caught the rainbow too!
Hi Neal- I was actually in that spot to get a shot of the Arrowhead Plant, but then saw the coloring of the Mountains and of course couldn't resist.....thanks.
Kathy, being so close to all those areas is a big plus, and I was surprised at the affordability of these homes for California. Very attractive.
