Cowboyday.com was created by American Cowboy magazine expressly for the purpose of promoting and supporting all aspects of cowboy and Western culture, and generating public awareness and support for the passage of a permanent National Day of the American Cowboy holiday.

National Day of the American Cowboy and this website are in no way associated with Bethany Braley’s organization “National Day of the Cowboy”.  Ms. Braley is a former employee of American Cowboy, who, after leaving the magazine in 2005, began promoting her own version of National Day of the American Cowboy, calling it “National Day of the Cowboy.”
