Real Estate Agent with ERA Herman Group Real Estate

Homes in the Northwest part of Colorado Springs

Includes homes in Mountain Shadows and Rockrimmon

If all you did was read the headlines in the newspapers, you would think every area in Colorado Springs has seen a huge decrease in housing prices.   Not true!

As the chart illustrates, when you compare the pricing in the Northwest area of Colorado Springs over the last 4 years, the pricing has decreased since 2006.   The pricing for homes in the Northwest side of Colorado Springs has decreased by $16,671 from the 2nd quarter of 2008 to 2006, which is 5% decrease over the past two years.  Yes, this is a decrease, but it's not as much as the headlines would make you believe.

Remember, all real estate is regional; market, pricing, and conditions vary neighborhood by neighborhood
