I've recently been researching all the new building available around Peterson AFB Real Estate for a few relocation clients.
There's a LOT out there right now. For starters, there's Forest Meadows, Chaparral Point, Indigo Ranch, and Banning Lewis Ranch. And that's only half the communities!
One of newest is Forest Meadows. It's one of the very few that offer homes in the low $200s. Forest Meadows is just off Black Forest Rd just north of Woodmen.
They have several different builders in the area, including Journey, Premiere and Aspen View. You can get a new home for well under $200k - $250K. And when I say new, I mean brand new. There's only a few homes that have families so far. This means good news for you new home buyers out there. Developments always have the best pricing when they first start.
If you want to see what they have to offer, you'll have to visit the development. No virtual tours here. It's unfortunate really. Relocations are tough enough and doubly so when you can't see what's available. The photo to the right is part of a compilation shoot I put on CD for Matt and Brad (and their wives, of course.) Having been through a few PCSs myself, I know how much pictures help when getting to know an area, so I offer those services as part of the Relocation Program.
After doing all the research, there's one other builder and area that I'd recommend for this price point. I'll give you a hint, it's in one of the developments I mentioned above. Any guesses?
I'll spill the beans about 'em in New Homes for Peterson AFB Real Estate - Part 2
