The real estate business is a bridge building business. In these troubled times, I am even more aware that folks need reassurance, and help with trustworthy advisors. I love being the bridge. Many people have increased stresses right now, with things tightening up on the financial front for most of us.
Developing trust, confidentiality, and being a true advocate are all bridge building skills. Being an advocate, a confidant, and advisor of people in their real estate dealings is a serious matter. I take pride in knowing I am engaging with people on such a meaningful venture!
Being knowlegable, yet knowing when you don't know in this business is wisdom. Remebering to clarify with your broker or lawyer if need be is even more important when you want to build a bridge with clients who will become friends, and create a lifelong relationship.
Building bridges can be wearisome. It's hard work. But when you see people cross over, you have an immense satisfaction that you were apart of something life changing.
Bridges bring people together, from different sides: negotiation. They bring people together from the same side: transaction. They make the world a better place, bearing the load when necessary.
Bridges make far away places more accsessable, within reach. Bridges are strong.
Be the bridge.
