Glad to see that there is a renewed interest in Detroit. I recently saw an article stating that building permits for new single family residents within the City are skyrocketing, while the burbs are on the skids. What a flip-flop!

I would have to say that is true. I have been doing a lot of re hab in Detroit and It is awsome that people are coming back and newly coming as well. I have been working with investers from CA and they seam to love Detroit. I hope that it is a sign of return!

I think that the article I read referenced developers from Seattle moving in to Detroit. They apparently feel that we are twenty years behind them as far as redevelopment goes, but that it is inevitable. The outside interest is definitely a positive sign.
