Litchfield Park Sales for 7 days prior to March 19, 2007
The previous week saw 11 homes close escrow as the month ended in Litchfield Park. Average home sale price was $387,663 while the average asking was $407,009, with a few anomalies affecting the asking over sales price. Average days on the market were 106, up from 48 the previous week, with 10 homes expiring from the MLS.
The average square footage for all these homes was 2471. That comes in at just over $156 per square foot, up $16 dollars. Of course these figures will vary depending on actual square footage, condition of the home and property and location, location, location!
While many forecast a downward spiral the economy for Arizona looks good with a net influx of people to the state. Trending slightly toward the buyers, effective marketing will make a difference. Other factors affecting price is the rise in pre-foreclosures and bank owned properties on the market.
