Kim, Cantaberry's sounds like my kind of restaurant, you've described the food so well. I love the idea of homemade soup and a sandwich! Great localism post.

Kim - Tomato Basil is one of my favorite soups, you got me hungry. I will have to remember to stop there the next time I'm in Ellijay between 11 & 3-ish.

Absolutely, Mike! Their's is probably the best I've ever tasted.  It is definitely not to be missed if you're in the area.

This is a great review of what sounds like a great local restaurant. In this day of big chains putting the Mom & Pop out of business, I am glad that this one looks like a keeper (even after the transfer of ownership)! And that Tomato/Basil soup sounds great! Do they have fried pies?
