Any One Have Experience with Homes.Com?

I am new to Active Rain. I decided to join because I have found so much great information on this site. I chose my smart phone by reading what others posted on this site. I look forward to contributing and getting even more great information!

I am having a very difficult time with Homes.com. I joined their service in April and have spent the last 4 months trying to get my account sorted out. Finally cancelled and have had difficulty getting the account cancelled. Anyone have any advice? What sites have you found that you have had the most success with? I love Realtor.com and use their services extensively.

Appreciate any tips.

Homes.com tried to get us to advertise with them, but I had concerns after a conversation on the phone -- and decided not to. Sorry you had a problem. We are currently advertising on move.com (realtor.com). They have had their struggles as a company, but we haven't had a problem advertising with them.

Welcome to Active Rain--it is a good source of information.

I haven't had any experience with Homes.com--but with other sites. From my experience from one local site in the Palms Springs area where I had exclusive territory, I made 3 sales out of 500 leads that came in over a period of time. I also tried Justlisted.com where they guaranteed me 10 leads per month. After 6 months no connection with any of the leads.

I now have exclusive territory with Realtor.com. I've only been with them for less than a month, and have had 12 leads so far. No connection yet. What I'm trying to say is that with these many internet services (also by other agent's experiences) you'll be lucky to connect with a half of a percent or less of all the leads that come in. Keep this in mind when you are comparing the monthly cost and the amount of leads that you'll get.

stay away from House Values, just listed. keep reading on Active Rain. Everything those companies claim to do, you can do for yourself without their enormous fees.
