Dog's Relationship to a Car

By
Real Estate Agent

Thinking on the topic of love, and how people 'yearn' for love.....I read something recently that cracked me up.  Someone was relating people and relationships, to dog's and cars.

First, thy cry because they want to get in the car.

Then as soon as the car starts to move, they cry because they want to get out.

And of course, as soon as they get out, all they want to do is get back in as soon as possible.

Good thing for us, dogs aren't especially musical or just imagine....all the annoying songs there'd be about cars!..

*For the Ultimate List of Car Songs....(although not necessarily from a dog's perspective...:-)

Ok.  I had to add a couple more - they were too hard to resist!

Liz, my sweet Willie the hyperactive Labradoodle puppy gets, sigh, car sick.  What a bummer.  I feed him tummy settling drugs before a trip, but if it lasts more than an hour, it's a barf!  Yikes!

Liz, I had three dogs at one time, and they would go nuts when it came time to go "Bye Bye".

This sort of reminds me of relationships.  All of my girlfriends that are in one would love to be out of it.  My girlfriends that aren't in a relationship, are desperate to be in one.  Geez!

Very funny!  Actually my dog gets car sick - so the thought of getting in the car drives him in the other direction.

Liz - The number of responses you are getting to this posting, demonstrates that this blog has gone to the dogs:-)

Seriously however, I have a dog (an American Eskimoe), who absolutely is afraid to death to ride in the car.  I literally need to pick him up and place him in the car when I need to take him any where.  That's no easy fete, because he's got a lot of junk in his trunk, and weights approximately 60 pounds.

Here's a link to a picture of him.  His name is Kodi Bear.  He's a very big hearted lovable dog.  Our neighbor put a window in the fence between our houses, so Kodi Bear and their dog (a weiner dog), could visit.

Myrl, you must have lovely neighbors!!  Your dog is beautiful too!

My cat moans and carries on the entire time she is in the cat carrier... she knows she is going to the vet.  So far, the new puppy doesn't mind.
