UNUSUAL DISCOVERY HERE IN NORTH GEORGIA, HAVE TO SHARE

By

Hello everyone I had to share this, this made local news here in Armuchee & Rome GA, and it made the TV news in Atlanta,   someone came upon dogs attacking this little deer in Armuchee GA on some land that borders Berry College(for  those that have not heard of Berry College it is the largest college in the US and one of the largest in the world) anyway back to the story.  What they found was no ordinary deer, this one had SIX LEGS AND 2 HIND QUARTERS ATTACHED!!  check out pictures below

They rushed the deer to a local vet for surgery, not because of his legs, it was from injuries received from the dogs attacking the deer.  They expect the deer to make it and talking about finding a sanctuary for it.  It is amazing what is or could be  in your own back yard,  Just wanted  to  share!

I'm always amazed to see things like that.  Wish they had more pics.  The poor things looks quite frightened in the lower picture.

Darlene, thanks for sharing the pictures.  I saw something about it on the internet but hadn't taken time to click and read about it yet.  It does look scared in the bottom photo -- I hope it's safe now.

I do hope they take measures to protect it and help it lead a normal life.  Thank you for sharing.  This is a great heart warming story.  We all need to help the wild life around us.

Darlene,

Gordon was telling me about this deer, it is really weird that it has 6 legs.  I think that it has recovered too and they are trying to find a safe place for it.   I saw a baby Fox today @ Berry College when I took my daily jog!!!! Take care!
