Neighbors and clients . . .

About a week ago, our local Greenville Home & Garden Magazine (published by our local Home Builder's Association) arrived in my mailbox with my former neighbor and two of her 4 children on the front cover.  The story was about how mudrooms, cubbies and storage bins helped families stay organized.  They were my first neighbor in the house that a local builder (friend of theirs also) built next door to me.  Lovely young couple who had one child, a little girl.

Several years later they were ready for a larger house as they had plans to have another child, so I sold the home in a week and helped them buy one in an older section of Greenville where it is popular to update and stay in the older neighborhoods.  Within a year or more, they had the second one on the way, only it was triplets instead of just one.  The triplets are now 5 years old and Delany is 9. Their world was not quite the same I'm sure after those sweet babies were born.  There were 2 boys and a girl, so they now had two of each.  They are a lovely young family and I am sure terrific parents.  I used to tell them that if they were as good with the kids as they were with their Great Dane, they would be excellent parents!

They decided to add on to the house about 1 1/2 years ago and she came by one weekend to show me the kids . . . they were gorgeous.

After they moved, I had a young guy who was single buy the home and he also had a dog.  He was one of the nicest young men you will ever meet and when he decided to move back to his home town and take his new bride with him, I sold the home for him too.  A buyer's agent brought another nice family to the home and when/if they move, I will probably sell it again.
