Another Celebrity foreclosure example

Scott Storch is losing his $10 million dollar home in Miami Beach Fl. Just last year this 34 year old was worth an estimated 70 million. Maybe his friends Christina Aguilera and Beyonce can help him out. After all he was their producer.

Should I feel bad for him? Well I wouldn't wish it on anyone but I can't say I feel bad for him. Not when so many people are facing the same situation and they have no way out at the moment. At least Scott got to have some fun with his Ferrari Scaglietti and his Bones Bike before he lost them to repossession.

The list is long of celebrity foreclosures including Ed McMahon, Evander Holyfield, Jose Canseco, Aretha Franklin,Latrell Spreewell,Michael Jackson etc.

Still our commander in chief thinks everything is fine with our economy. Maybe as an art project we could erect little white crosses on the front lawn of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave representing each American home that has been foreclosed on. Do you think he'd get that there is a problem then? Too bad there isn't enough land at his tax payor paid manse to do this. Then again it doesn't bother him when somebody counts the dead U.S. heroes he sent off to war either.

Well John, how do you really feel? I do agree we have a problem, don't know if it is really only Bush who is at fault, as many things came into play on the housing mess.

Mary, One thing I learned early on in life is nobody but me cares how I feel. I don't blame one individual for this mess we are in. He just happens to be the one I blame most. It did as they say, happen under his watch. Kind of like the people who blame JFK for Vietnam even though Ike was the commander in chief when we first sent in troopds there.

I don't feel bad for someone who is worth 70 million and still can't seem to hold onto their posessions.  If you are going to be stupid with your money, you deserve to lose it.

John,  I am with you 100%.  I don't believe the government sees what is really happening, or at least if they do they don't want to acknowledge it.  We have average normal everyday people loosing their homes due to job layoffs.  These people didn't have millions of dollars in the bank they are just like you and I.  Our government can bail out the banks so they don't loose but can't bail out the American citizens.  As Realtors, if we didn't put away enough money to cover us through this time we could be looking at the same problem.

This is just my take on it. Thanks!

Thank you Deana, If it weren't for taxpayers like you and I the govn't would not be able to bail out the banks. It is time we let them know that sometimes we think enough is enough.
