I just left my clients who are very happy because their sofa is gone.  One piece down and many to go.

I have had training the past two weeks from a furniture store I'm working at part time. I mentioned that I was doing a house sale next month and that was it, two women wanted the sofa.  Great piece, hardly used.  I brought in a photo and that was it, SOLD.

I've decided to post some of the furniture on Craig's List, I took photos, measurements, etc. to see if I can pre-sell some if the larger items.

I received great comments on my first post regarding my fee, I decided to take a percentage, of the gross, but receiving a minimum  amount of money regardless what sells.  I'm only going to run the sale for 4 hours on a Saturday and 4 hours on a Friday.  Should work out well,

Good Luck Joyce. Sounds like fun and some good shopping. The bottom line is that you are helping your clients which is a good thing.

Are you selling all their furniture and is this what is not needed to stage?  Where do you put it until sold. etc.?  Maybe another blog with details might explain more to the curious. like me.
