Exciting things are happening in Key Largo over the next couple of weeks. This coming week is Lobster Mini Season. For those of you who are unfamiliar every year just before the opening of the regular lobster season sport fisherman come to the Keys for an opportunity to catch 6 lobster per person per day with a limit of 24 per boat. This event lasts just 48 hours and brings many tourists to our area. Also next week begins a nine day food and wine festival sponsored by the Upper Keys business group of which I am amember. This is the first annual. Many of our local restuaranters are involved and there are dozens of opportunities to eat and drink your way through the Upper Keys.
