Is your glass half empty or half full?

Real Estate Agent with JKA Properties (Meli G Realty & Investment Group)

Two real estate agents decided to start a new career in selling shoes. The two real estate agents went to Africa to open up new markets. Three days after arriving, one real estate agent said, "I'm returning on the next flight. Can't sell shoes here. Everybody goes barefoot."
At the same time the other real estate agent sent an email to the factory that read: "The prospects are unlimited. Nobody wears shoes here!"

So, it's up to us to decide  if we want to look at the glass half empty or half full! Is it really a soft market? Many agents have shown remarkable skills in dealing with the everchanging market! Happy Selling! (Houses not Shoes :-)

I will remember this one!  In my mind it converted to "Can't sell houses here...  Everyone rents instead of buying."  OR  "There's unlimited potential here - so many renters who could be buying a home instead!" Half-full works for me!

Meli, the only limitations in life are the ones that we place on ourselves. It does not matter if it is Sports, Real Estate, or Selling Shoes, you have to believe in order to succeed.

Meli - This makes a good point. In the real estate world, a lot of people have thought about buying a home, but have put it off for one reason or another. Eventually they will decide to go, and when they do, it will be a rush.

Good point. It is up to us to make a difference when the outcome looks dim. Even after all the hype on the tube and crazy media I'm still selling more than last year.

Meli... well said!  Market currents will change from time-to-time.  We need to be observant and see where the opportunities are and move forward.

I'm an eternal optimist! I think even in the worst situation, there is something positive to look at, you just have to find it. So, keep that glass half full, and who knows some days it might just get really FULL
