Are you an artisan that wants to get a little more exposure for your arts or crafts?  Here is a perfect Yellow Ribbonopportunity!  The 3rd Annual Craft Fair has both indoor and outdoor spaces available for this September 13th event.  The event will last from 8am to 5pm and has been a huge success in the past!  Here are some arts and crafts that they are looking for:

  • Quilting and Sewing
  • Wood Working
  • Floral Arranging
  • Home Decor
  • Children's Items
  • Seasonal Items
  • Stained Glass Art
  • Jewelry
  • Pottery

If you don't see your forte on the list don't fret!  They are interested in all arts and crafts.

In addition, space is available for food vendors provided you have the proper NC permits as well as vendors with activites geared primarily to children.

Cost for booths are $35 for a single space and $60 for a double space.  You can find an application here  or can call 919-389-4822.

This event is sponsored by The Family Readiness Group that supports the NC National Guard 30th BSTB.  Show your support for our troops by participating in this hugely successful event!

I LOVE craft fairs.  Maybe I can find some time to finish up a few projects and actually run a booth...   And of course supporting the National Guard is a double benefit.

Local crafts fairs Leesa are a gem in Americana in my opinion. They make the exhibit space so affordable too. It is a great venue for getting out and mixing it up with the locals and finding some pretty neat "custom" stuff for your house or your family.

This sounds so fun Leesa!  I love the local craft fairs we have here in Meridian Idaho.  Ours usually start in October, and go hot and heavy through the Christmas Holidays.  Have fun!

Penny - I KNEW that you would love this one.  It should really be a great event!

Don - I'll have you know that I make jewelry! HA

Jeanean - I am so or Localism!  Just blog about all that is around you - open your eyes - it's there!

Jim - Thanks!  The more I can get out about my area the better!

Gary - I have found some really beautiful and one of a kind gems at these types of shows!  They're great!

Pam - Yep, I think this is just the beginning before the onslaught ramping up to the holidays.

Teresa - You should see my collection of pottery.  I am partial, however, to one lady in Titusville Florida - LOVE her work!  That doesn't mean that I won't peruse the local fairs for additions to my collection.
