Our Summit County Waste Management Authority has recently started a "Get Caught Green Handed" campaign, where they put a small green hand sign in your yard if you fill up your recycling bin. A small incentive for a very wothwhile project. They also now have a program where you can take all of your old computers, and electronics to recycle for free. They will re-use what they can, and part out the rest for return to manufacturers and re-manufacturers. No parts are ever burned, or sent to third world countries. I thought it would be nice if you could share your ideas for "going green", or maybe some small things that you have already done to help our planets environment continue for future generations. I have been learning more and more about this subject, and I believe it is something that everyone should be aware of... and get involved in. We are currently abusing our planet and it's resources, and it cannot be allowed to continue. We all have to pitch in to make a difference, preserve and protect our resources for future generations. Have you been "Caught Green Handed"? You are invited to go to "Home Inspector's Corner" group to join us, and see what home inspectors are blogging about.
