OK, so I just posted a touchy feely blog about all agents being equal. But I wanted to clarify myself with a new blog. Why....More points.......NO!!! Duh!!!
I was just getting too tangential in the old one.
I ask my agents a question allot. That question being who are you reaching out to? Who is your sphere of influence? Who even knows you are in the Real Estate business?
Then I will even go so far as to ask, how many homes has Dr. Phil bought lately? You see there are so many agents that will sit on their couch and watch TV all day. Then call me on my way home (8:00 PM usually) to ask what they can do to improve their sales.
I am a comedian by nature, a Hard-nosed soldier by training, and a realtor by career. So I call it like it is. I will say things like ......
1) Order a pizza and when the guy gets there, sell him a house, because that is the only other person you are going to see all day.
2) Pray for a burglary. and follow that script.
3) You have a great relationship with Dr. Phil, ask him if he knows anyone who will be needing to buy or sell real....you know the spiel.
Some of you are going to say.....But Gary (which is a funny thing to say to yourself) you wrote that touchy feely blog.
Right, and I said, if you are content, then I am OK. But if you are not, we might have an issue. So if you are sitting on your couch feeling sorry for yourself and Dr. Phil makes you feel better.......call him and as him....
