I had one of my rual listings broken into this weekend. It is located in the country and set
back a long ways from the main road. The owner left in a hurry as he is horse breeder. He
was to be gone a few weeks and that turned into months. His land had gotten very over
grown with weeds. The price is right and this property has had many showings. I got
a call this weekend that the house had been robbed. They had pulled in a truck and
trailer and wiped him out. They took everything stove, refrigerator, washer dryer and
even cleaned out the sheds.
Is this happening in your areas? This happened in a small town Buhl, Idaho. There has
been alot in Boise in the upper end model homes, but in a small community it shows
that times are getting harder. Our vacant homes are going to have to do more to
appear lived in.
