The best way to earn points?

Just curious...what is the best way to earn points ... Can someone explain how blog points are earned? Thanks!

That was the way I started this blog, and then I realized that I would not gain any points because the post was under 50 words. So, I have started to answer my own question...also I noticed points are affected depending on who the blogger gives access to etc. Well this is a start...
