JenRan Realty, LLC has gone YELLOW!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with JenRan Realty, LLC

After two failed attempts to get a free listing in the Reminder phone book I'm happy to say that JenRan Realty, LLC is part of the Putnam/Willimantic Yellow Book.  According to the sales representative, Lorraine Nelson, people are still looking to the phone book for services.

Yellow Book has an extensive advertising campaign which serves as a helpful reminder to pick up the phone book when we don't know who to call.  I'll admit I use search engines 90% to find information on goods, services, people, etc. but sometimes I need a phone book.

Since opening JenRan Realty, LLC in 2005 we have not been in any phone book.  I'll be curious to see if we get calls from our ads in the white and yellow pages.  If it works out well we'll continue with Yellow Book and branch out to other editions so our entire market area is covered.

Remember; JenRan Realty, LLC is now, "in the book."  When you are ready to buy or sell real estate give us a call.

Jennifer, and I thought that I was old fashioned!  And a lot of the old fashioned basic stuff really works.

Patricia-I admit I'm a bit skeptical but if I don't try it I'll always wonder.  Plus not everyone has a computer.  Thanks for your comment.

Lindsey, it sort of makes me wonder-if we don't use them, who does?!  Thanks for commenting.

We have five yellow pages here. It could get expensive to advertise in all of them. Additionally, when each of them arrive, they go directly into the recycle bin. I don't use them, preferring my computer or, if not in a WiFi area, 411 on the cell phone.

I always get calls from the sales reps, too, about how "people still use the Yellow Pages." Well of course they are going to say that. They are sales reps for the Yellow Pages.
