Yuo Better Talk To Your Realtor

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Westburn Realty V24358

Most of us Realtors work hard with our clients and go to a lot of effort to present the property in the best possible light. We buy good equipment and sometimes fancy software to play with pictures, virtual tours, panoramic scenes etc.

Sometimes we use outside service to get these photos and virtual tours done.

Today, I was looking for a property for one of my buyers and found a listing with this picture. Wow! This is July! Middle of summer and the sun is shining. There is no way this picture should be up now. Even if the listing is old, you can still update the pictures.
On the other hand, I would blame the seller also. Don't they know what their listing looks like on the internet? Over 77 per cent of buyers use the internet first to find a home, according to the National Association of Realtors.
In any case, the seller better have a talk to his Realtor. What does the buyer think when he sees a picture like this? Does anybody care?

Hello Jeff and welcome to the Active|Rain community.

You've made a big step to distinguish yourself from the majority of real estate licensees by blogging about real estate. So I'm inviting you to join an active|rain group comprised of your fellow blogger Canadian REALTORS® , the Canada, eh group - http://activerain.com/groups/Canada.

When I login on ActiveRain.com, I always check the Canada, eh group first to read the Canadian perspective since Canadian bloggers are so much easier to find on the group home page.

And please include any of your posts with a Canadian angle by also posting them to the group.
(although please no postings about properties for sale in the group)

Should you decide to join the Canadians, then let me say "Welcome!"

Definately not a beauty.  The picture is doing no favors to the property for certain!
