Republicans for Obama??? God help us all!!!

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

After trading replies with a like minded agent a little earlier, I remembered a bumper sticker I saw on a Range Rover not too long ago. Since I was not in the position to snap camera phone shot, I thought I would google it to see if it was available. Obviously it was so I have pasted it above for your viewing pleasure.

GOD HELP US ALL!

McCain is not much better of a choice. Although I never agreed with much of what McCain said...I always admired him for standing alone on what he believed...he is now agreeing with anyone who says they will vote for him...he is no different then Obama now.

My favorite bumper sticker for political issues was

Nixon 49 America 1!

People need to research the facts before they vote.  If they did, I think they would be suprised what they would find out about their candidate.

Peter--from your 'God Help Us All' comment, I can't tell on which side of the isle you stand.  Guess that is a good thing.  We probably all have enough work to do without getting sidetracked by politics.

A lot of bad dogs have been elected as the result of a mass kneejerk reaction to punish one side or the other. If there was ever a time for people to think about the importance of the vote, it is now. Straight ticket and single issue voters are, to my thinking, dangerous. While the Republicans have made a complete mess of their opportunity, I am not sure the Democrats have anything better to offer. Some bad people have come to power on the promise of change. Let's all be careful and vote all over the board to fire as many at all levels in both parties as possible. Then push for term limits for Congress and the Senate. They should not be allowed to retire in office at our expense. While at it, try asking your concressperson to explain his/her healthcare package to you. Bet you don't get an answer!

Thank you Kenneth and Pat for your comments :-)

Kenneth: You are correct when you say that people need to research the facts. BTW, you have a great name :-) One of my favorite clothing and shoe designers is also named Kenneth Cole, but I am sure you already knew that.

Pat: Yes, we do have enough work to keep us busy, but no matter how much we try to avoid the topic of politics, it always lands in our laps. Especailly with so many opinions here in the AR community :-) I am not trying to spark a politial battle amongst AR members, simply sharing a bumper sticker that made me think to myself "god help us all" :-) If you really want to know which side of the isle I stand on, feel free to send me a personal email and I will happily share with you :-)

Thanks Peter-----I think I can guess.  I do enjoy politics but tend to get easily carried away.  My brother and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum and constantly debate via e-mail.  If there is one thing that has taught me, it is that we cannot change the mind of another.   Agree or disagree, it is very important for us all to exercise our right to vote!  I just watched the HBO series on John Adams over the weekend (fabulous film)---a reminder of how hardfought our freedom and independence was.  We should not take them for granted!

Pat, it's obvious isn't it :-) No need to guess :-) You could not be more correct when you say that "we cannot change the mind of another". Can you imagine the world if we could?

Bush is a failed president.

Obama is a reaction to Bush.

Bush was a reaction to Clinton...who was a pig.

2 Poor Choices. There are no true leaders in this country anymore who want to run for President. I cringe at the thought of either of these 2 being President, unfortunately one of them is going to be.

Who in their right mind would want the job? No wonder we have such a hard time attracting viable and competent candidates!

Now this is one I can't agree with you!  I think it's more like "God Help Us All" if John McCain is elected President of the United States as he is just an extension to one of the worst Presidents in the history of the country!

Thank you for your input Tony. Let me tell you first hand that I am a Democrat, but for some reason I do not feel comfortable with either candidate. McCain is another Bush all the way, but Obama makes me nervous. Like the bumper sticker reads, if Republicans support Obama as well that is something to worry about. Just my opinion though :-)
