"What would Jesus Do?" A food critic once stated that a FROZEN CUSTARD STAND is "where God goes to get his ice cream!" So says the website of Abbott's Frozen Custard based in Rochester, N.Y.
And now apparently, God is getting his frozen custard fix in Needham!!
The first frozen custard stand in Massachusetts has opened on Great Plain Ave. in Needham, and at the helm is former NATICK resident and Sherborn mother of three, Mary Pat Dauria.
Mary Pat originally hails from Rochester and she reports that a plethora of local citizens from the Rochester area have already stopped by her Abbott's Frozen Custard Stand.
"We've been really busy," Mary Pat revealed during a recent visit to her fabulous new shop. Open for only a scant few weeks, the word is out: New Englanders looking for an ice cold treat will swoon over the delectable frozen custard concoctions.
The frozen custard is creamy, cold, and oh...so good! Flavors change daily. Young and old alike stood patiently in line as Mrs. D and her staff layered cones and cups with Abbott's well-honed recipe.
A tradition in Rochester, and now a smash in Needham Center, just a short drive from Natick, Wellesley, Weston, Dover, and Sherborn.
A Top Realtor should always be well informed. So THIS Top Metrowest Real Estate Agent will continue to sample this new culinary delight as he reports on metrowest's greatest offerings!
If you want to see where God gets his ice cream, then go see Mary Pat. And tell her, "JOHN PRESCOTT sent me!"
