How bad is bad?

By

Over the past couple of years, real estate has been flooded with bad news.  Words heard daily from national media are, "bad market", "declining market", and the list goes on.  So how bad is bad?  When will it pick up?  One of the best analogies I have heard is that real estate is like the weather.  It's ALWAYS local.  If you live on the west coast and a hurricane is going to hit the east coast, does it effect you?  Of course not.  The same is true in real estate.  Be sure to ask your local Realtor for local market conditions as they pertain to you.

Absolutely the truth. I tell people that it may not be the time to buy, you must look at you personal situation, not what the national news said! No news sells like bad news!
