A Sign of Rock

A helpful tip or a old wise tell is that when looking for a building site if there are a large number of cedar trees  you most likley will hit rock.  In the Ozarks where I live we have alot of clay and the dreaded rock,  this makes it more expensive in putting in basements and harder in future landscaping projects.  The unfortunate part of this is that it is something we have to deal with and hope that there is not alot of it.  Happy digging!
