A career day...in reverse!

Yesterday started bad and became worse. I lost 5 listings in one day, a new personal best!! One was owned by 2 brothers and since my one year anniversary was up, one brother wanted me but the other wanted fresh blood. One bought a home with her boyfriend (he had his own agent) and left me their home to sell, which was overpriced and now she is frustrated so she is going to FSBO. 2 are in short sale and I couldn't find a buyer so they just expired. The last one was pissed because they didn't listen to me. They bought a FSBO, who bullied them into closing and getting a bridge loan. We had a buyer for their place, and the agent assured me the buyer was pre-approved, but their loan was denied. Now they own 2 homes, and of course since you can't fire the market, they fired me.

Guess I will start again today. Each day I look in the mirror and say this bad market can't last forever! Can it?

You must have needed a few stiff drinks last night.  I keep seeing signs that things are getting better, even in the toughest markets.  And I have a feeling with an election coming up in three and a half short months, we're going to see some major changes soon (hopefully for the better!)

Hang in there Dennis!  I see the market getting better, very slowly. Besides, can it get much worse?

Yikes!  what a thought.

Take care,

Sorry to hear about your bad day...I think we each have one of those types of day every now and then. :-(  I live by the saying that everything happens for a reason...Hang in there and think postive and positve things will happen. :-)  Keep us updated! :-)..........Janis Olson
