HAY from MO

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Solutions- OZARK MISSOURI

I spent most of yesterday running around with a gal from way out of state.  She is interested in one of my 'little farms' a 133 acre m/l property just south of Aurora & Monett Missouri in Verona (Purdy schools).  Tammy loves horses and plans to bring her 13 beloved hoofed lawn ornaments with her.  Since she is from 'back east', her concern was finding a good source of hay for her brood.  Guess what?......

Missouri has been know to have a crop or two of hay!  Riding in the car with Tammy was an experience. (I love getting to 'see' our beautiful part of the state through 'new eyes').  Even though the property of interest for her has over 80 acres in timber, there is more than enough pasture land to support her 4-legged children.

I would like to THANK in advance the future neighbors of Tammy's family for fattening up their livestock and having the round bales in place for our drive by.  Missouri farmers go out of their way to welcome others.  We drove by mile after mile of hay fields.  (I was almost afraid it would be a bit much- but think the outdoor staging worked in this case!)  When you have someone moving to SW Missouri- give me a call-  Cheryl- we have HAY- Willis

Cheryl.. Wonderful blog.  Great verbage.  I wonder if Tammy's mouth dropped when she saw all that hay.  I like your comment on 4 legged children... made me laugh.. thank you.

Purdy is full of beautiful hay fields.  Does Tammy have family that wants a horse farm?

Valerie, thanks for the verbage, think that comes from growing up in a house where I was told to 'use your words'  (I prefer to point and grunt- wait that's how I do it now-  my bad)- cw

Kay-  I would love to have a shot at selling your horse farm listing- how beautiful is that one!!  This place that Tammy wants is the right location, size and $$$ for what she wants to do.  The 80 in timber will be used for riding trails.  She wants to build a berm riding areana and this has the landscape to support her plans.  Think this is the only 133 m/l under 275,000 in the area.

Even after eight years of living here in Missouri I never tire of seeing the hay!  I love to see the machinery in the fields, the bales sitting their like orphans waiting for attention.

Sounds like you found Tammy the perfect Missouri property - way to go Girl!
