Are We Seeing Signs of an Improving Economy?

Today, I noticed several economic indicators which bode well for our industry.  Oil is down once again, and subsequently gas is coming down - let's pray it stays there.  A day following the preseidents signing of the newest "bailout bill" Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac stocks are up (as are stocks on the whole).

I believe these are the signs that we want to see.  We just need to see them consistently.

Keep the faith!

I read earlier the dollar is up as well which pushed down oil prices. Thats always good to hear. We need a rebound!

I also noticed recently that gas prices have declined a fair amount. Hopefully this continues and is not just a temporary ray of light. Thanks for the post Anthony!

Thanks for the positive post. I always love to see good news on here. I'll enjoy the gas prices while they're here and hope they stay for awhile.

Things have been looking better. It's about time. It's been down long enough.

Hey guys - I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but I think we are 12 - 18 months away from the bottom.......

Housing prices continue to fall every month, foreclosures increase every month. Credit card default is on the rise big time. Credit guidelines tighten more and more each month. More local and regional banks are appearing on the FDIC watchlist every week.

No disrespect - but I don't see it. Not anytime soon.....
