Rental Properties

By
Home Stager with Dressed for Success

I'm wondering if anyone has staged a Rental Property before?  I'm thinking more along the lines of a redesign - helping them pick the right fixtures, paint colours, flooring etc....

I'm not sure it would make sense to stage it as a vacant - unless it was an expensive condo or something?!?

What do you think of this?  I've been approached by a property manager to do this.

Alyse: I think it might work--and you may be carving out a new niche! Even minimalistic staging can make an empty box more appealing.

Would it be the model unit for a large rental community, or it is just a single rental property that they want you to stage?

Single Property - either just an apartment or a large home with 5-7 bedrooms (very common here, and they rent them out to groups of students. Most of the rental properties around here are to university students.

I could see the model unit for sure, in that case you could do a full vacant staging...

I think in this regard they are looking for advice on fixing it up to rent faster and for more money - and hopefully get better tenants too.  Kwim?
