Today alot of us upgrade and get new cell phones. So what do you do with your old cell phone? For a while, I had a couple of phones that were just laying around the house until a friend told me about "Cell Phones For Soldiers". Cell Phones For Soldiers is a program that recycles old cell phones to pay for calling cards so soldiers that are overseas can call home to their families.
This program was started by a 12 and 13 year old brother and sister who wanted to help our soldiers. It's really great to see this kind of spirit in young people. Check out their website, www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com. This is a really awesome program. By donating your cell phone, not only will you be helping the environment by recycling, but more importantly you will be helping our soldiers connect with their families. Which will have a great impact on that soldier and their family.
Plus, it's really simple to do. CPFS has postage free labels you can print to mail in your cell phone. If you don't have a cell phone to donate, they also accept monetary donations. Please tell others about it, you may not have an old cell phone but someone you know might!
Thank you for all your support!
