I am NOT a local--

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Solutions- OZARK MISSOURI

Wink Differing Points Of View

A couple of local agents and I were sitting at a table at one of our favorite places.  I notice a quite inebriated fellow was starring over at us.

I asked the - Local Home Town Gal, "Do you know him?"

"Yes," she sighed. "He's my old HS Boyfriend.
I understand he started drinking right
after we split up years ago,
and I hear he hasn't been sober since."

"My Goodness!" I SAID. "Who would think a
person could go on CELEBRATING  that long?"

So you see, there really are two ways to
look at everything ....

In Missouri (the Show Me State) we have to see it to believe it!

If you have property needs in my area of our lovely state give me a call, I look forward to working with you soon.-    cheryl- never leave them hung over- Willis

Cheryl.. Good response.. You are right there are always at least two ways of looking at things.. The more people, the more view points.  Take my blog "Trying to Help, but Saying The Wrong Thing".  LOL.

Valerie, Your  post has been good reading this week- a couple of 'sore spots' are getting their own spin offs.  Was going to tell of the time I was showing an 80 m/l and asked the client if he had access to farm equipment.  He said he was going to 'rent' a tractor-  I wanted him to put in writing that HE WILL NOT CALL ME to come brush-hog his acreage.  People don't always think ahead to what the responsibilities are going to be.  Kinda like renting an apartment and not owning a vacuum.   Cheryl-Don't call me for lawn care or carpet cleaning- WIllis.

Lisa, this was my feeble attempt at humor (we have a local gal who does a lot of print ads about being local) thought it fit-  cw

Pam, I was not trying to stir up trouble, I am sure that all your local stuff is good.  this was a 'in my head being sarcastic' trying to justify the insanity of working in a small town market.  You have to read between a lot of lines to get any of that though- for everyone else it was just a chuckle- cw

Bwahahhahaha.  That was funny.  Now the next time you hear that Missouri joke, it will have a Maine accent.
